Canon 14mm f2.8 Optex Lens Review on a Red One Camera at 4k 24fps ISO 320, 5000, saturation 1.5 Kelvin key lit by daylight bulbs.
Here is the Canon 14mm F2.8 Optex Lens that we rented for a music video production. It is definitely wider than our 18-50 but not quite as good. For our uses it worked out great. Hopefully we will replace this with the Canon 10-22mm on the Birger mount and supplement that with the Peleng 8mm. For our video production needs that should be more than enough but for our Red One Rental needs there will always be times when we will want to rent something else as well. I could talk about the specifics of the lens but you should be able to tell anything about the sharpness, chromatic aberration, contrast and color of this lens by comparing these pictures below. They are jpegs, but I compared them to the original tiffs and there is very little difference. The first picture is a well lit example to show off the lens and its abilities. The second one is a quick and non scientific look at flare handling.
